Disaster Needs Assessment | Social Vulnerability Analysis

A detailed analysis of the flood’s impact on areas with higher levels of social vulnerability. Best practices in the transition from immediate response to long-term recovery.

This course is ideal for county judge-executives, mayors, Kentucky league of cities, Kentucky judges/executives association, the department of local government, Kentucky emergency managers, and disaster recovery and housing NGOs.

FEMA Applications and Appeals

Applying for and appealing FEMA awards is both burdensome and complicated. SBP offers a train-the-trainer course to teach those assisting survivors with the FEMA process the necessary tools to maximize assistance for survivors and ensure they receive all eligible FEMA aid.

The Kentucky River Area Development District is a quasi-governmental agency working with city and county governments in the KRADD area to improve the quality of life for our citizens. KRADD serves as a representative of local units of government and citizens throughout the area as a communication network for cities, counties, and state and federal governments.
