Krewe (n): A Krewe, commonly associated with carnival season in New Orleans, is a group of people that work together to sponsor a float or a Mardi Gras parade.

SBP’s Krewe is a group of monthly donors that work together to ensure SBP can respond immediately following a disaster and stay until every family is home.

Monthly donors:

  • Provide predictable funding that allows SBP to prepare teams to deploy to disasters.
  • Play a vital role in SBP’s long-term recovery work. In 2019, donations from monthly donors totaled more than $75,000, which helped to rebuild homes for three families!
  • Help build new programs that support disaster preparedness education across the United States.
