Our guides and resources are designed to assist your household in two critical phases of disaster management: preparedness and recovery. By leveraging our preparedness resources, you can equip yourself with the knowledge and capacity to make informed decisions about safeguarding your home and family ahead of a disaster. Following our post-disaster recovery resources will empower you with the tools and support you need to get back on your feet as quickly and seamlessly as possible.

Government Administrators

At SBP, we know that state and local governments are the key actors determining how well communities prepare for and recover from disasters. Despite recovery programs receiving billions of dollars, program implementation and outcomes are untimely and inconsistent, allowing the most vulnerable survivors to slip through the cracks. That’s why our Advise Team is devoted to the empowerment of government capacity – to deliver predictable and equitable recovery to disaster survivors everywhere.

Nonprofits

SBP's SHARE program offers a suite of training opportunities to meet the needs of nonprofit organizations responding to and providing long-term disaster recovery support in their respective communities. SBP's Share Program fills critical gaps in post-disaster communities across the nation by providing funding, training, and capacity building to its nonprofit partners. Our team works closely with local and national organizations to share our best practices - taught to us through partners like Toyota, and UPS - and train organizations to use SBP's innovative and effective rebuilding model. Through our expertise and free consulting support, our partners are equipped to address the many real-world challenges commonly encountered by homeowners, community leaders, and organizations in preparing for and responding to disasters.
